Stop bad behaviour in preschool puppies

Why do you need to stop bad behaviour in preschool puppies now? Because puppies don’t ‘grow out of’ bad behaviour – they grow into it!

It is a common misconception that certain puppy behaviours, like chewing as an example, will stop when the puppy ‘grows up’ Unfortunately, this just isn’t true. Even when a puppy stops teething, it is a normal dog behaviour to chew.

If you don’t want your fully grown adult dog to do it, don’t let them do it now. The most common age range of dogs I see for private in home training lessons is the 6 to 12 month old range. Where the problems are related to regular puppy problems that got out of hand with a now grown adolescent dog. The time and expense it takes to fix could have been avoided altogether, had the bad behaviour been stopped when they were preschool age.

Create good habits

It’s really important to get off on the right paw. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck behind the 8 ball for awhile. It’s cheaper and easier to prevent problems before they start, rather than trying to cure them later.

All of our training topics are going to help you be able to manage your puppy and teach them good habits. We’ll focus on teaching our puppies what we want them TO DO.

Problem behaviour guides

We’ll support you in your puppy raising with extensive detail in the puppy problem behaviour guides.

You’ll learn how to deal with common puppy problems like:

  • Toilet training
  • Chewing
  • Jumping up
  • Biting nipping

And more. For our core problem behaviours there’s also a discussion board where you can interact with your peers and instructor for moral support and general Q&A.

All Problem behaviour guides and discussion boards are available for students in the Turbocharged Training Puppy Preschool Program. And for those who purchase 2 or more Drop In Passes for puppy preschool.
