Training for Preschool Puppies
Having a puppy is exciting, but it’s also full-on. They grow up really quickly, so it’s important to get off on the right paw. Because preventing problems is cheaper and easier than fixing them later. Training is a great way to deal with regular puppy problems. We’ve got lots of training for preschool puppies in our preschool classes.

Training for humans
You’ll be in charge of your puppy 24/7, therefore your puppy’s education, starts with yours. We help you understand the core theory and practice of puppy training so that you can do it alone, without the trainer.
You’ll learn
- How dog’s learn. So you know how best to teach them.
- Dog psychology. Why are they doing that?
- Dog language. Understand how dog’s communicate – you don’t need to be a ‘dog whisperer’
- How to deal with problem behaviour
- The basic training techniques and how to put them into practice
Training for preschool puppies
We’ll be teaching you how to train your puppy to…
- Respond to their name
- Sit for calm
- Pay attention when asked
- Go to a place (e.g. bed)
- Lie down
- Settle / relax
- Come when called
- Walk on a loose leash
- Give up an item when asked, or take when instructed
Training materials

You also get 8 weeks access to the online learning platform. This hosts all of the how-to videos and written instructions, therefore you don’t need to remember everything all at once. You’ll be able to review your training materials and keep up with your training for longer, with better effect. It’s also great if there are other people in the household who couldn’t come to the face to face class. They’ll be able to catch up on all of the training, without having to play chinese whispers.
