What will your puppy learn

Manners / obedience skills

We’ll hone your training skills so your puppy has nice manners.

  • Respond to their name
  • Pay attention when asked
  • Automatic sit
  • Go to a place, like a mat, bed or crate
  • Lie down
  • Relax and settle in place
  • Wait / Stay in place
  • Touch / Target (it’s very handy)
  • Give, take, or leave an item when requested

What will you learn

What you will learn

I’ll teach you, because you’ll be teaching your puppy 100% of the time I’m not there. Some training is hands on. And some education is supported in the online learning course. With the theory, how-to videos, helpful handouts and written instructions, Q&A discussion boards and other training tidbits.

  • Dog psychology. How dogs learn, so you know how best to teach them
  • Dog communication. Because you don’t have to be a ‘dog whisperer’ to know what dogs are saying
  • What socialisation is
  • How to safely and effectively socialise your puppy
  • The keys to preventing problem behaviours
  • How to manage and change behaviour
  • That is what to do about nipping/biting, chewing, jumping up, toilet training etc

Who can do this course

  • They must be in healthy condition and had at least 2 vaccinations (certificates required)

  • Max 4 persons per dog
